What kind of therapeutic methods do you use?
I am trained in a mixture of therapeutic techniques (NLP, Gestalt, Parts Therapy, Positive Psychology, Strength-based & solution-focussed therapy, CBT, Play therapy, Ollie method and Milton) but every session is very much about you, what the problem is, what you are like as a person, what you prefer, how you make sense of the world and so which techniques I use very much depend on the problem and also what works for you, or if there is even a need for therapeutic intervention. How and where are sessions held?
If you are an adult looking for help for yourself, it depends on your preference and where you are based. It can be face-to-face in Falkirk and the surrounding areas or online.
When it comes to children, I prefer to work with them in person.

Do I have to sign up with you after the free call?
No, you don’t. You are in full control. The free initial chat is just an opportunity to get to know me a bit and see if you could work with me. I can also get a better understanding of the presenting issue and your desired outcome so that I can make sure I can help. Without these, the change you would like to happen would not be possible. So, it’s important for me that you work with the right person for you. Also, sometimes it’s just not the right time yet for whatever reason, so you are always welcome to start your journey with me at a later time.
